NEMT
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation — safe, planned rides to and from medical care for patients who don't require an ambulance.
Door-to-Door
Service that begins at the patient's front door and ends at the entrance of their appointment — not just curb pickup.
ADA-Compliant Vehicle
A vehicle that meets Americans with Disabilities Act standards, typically equipped with lifts, ramps, and secure restraints.
Ambulatory
A passenger who can walk with minimal assistance and does not require a wheelchair or stretcher.
Standby Time
The period a driver waits at an appointment before returning the patient home.
